Consider the following questions:

  • Describe a time when you had a fixed mindset or a growth mindset. What impact did this have on your beliefs about yourself, your actions, or your motivation?
  • Describe a time when you showed grit. What was the situation? How did you persevere? What did you learn or accomplish through your perseverance?
  • What do you do when you find yourself focusing on the negative? What strategies do you find helpful for avoiding negative bias?
  • How do you feel about your current time management strategies? Do you have enough time to get your work done without feeling stressed? In what ways could you improve?
  • Where do you currently do most of your reading, studying, and homework? What is working well about this location? What could be improved?
